Coronary artery disease
The symptoms of coronary heart disease will depend on the severity of the disease. Some persons with CAD have no symptoms, some have episodes of mild chest pain or angina, and some have more severe chest pain.
Heart attack
A heart attack, or myocardial infarction, occurs when one or more regions of the heart muscle experience a severe or prolonged lack of oxygen caused by blocked blood flow to the heart muscle.

Heart disease
There are many cardiac conditions that require clinical care by a physician or other heart care professional.
Heart valve disease
Healthy valves open and close fully to let the blood flow in only one direction. When a valve can’t open completely, blood is pumped through a smaller-than-normal opening. When a valve can’t close completely, blood leaks back into the previous chamber.
Angina
Angina pectoris (or simply angina) is recurring chest pain or discomfort that happens when some part of the heart does not receive enough blood. Angina is a symptom of coronary heart disease (CHD), which occurs when arteries that carry blood to the heart become narrowed and blocked due to atherosclerosis.
Congestive heart failure
There is no cure for heart failure, but it can be controlled with proper medications in the right doses and with careful management. If caught early, heart failure can improve.
